Wishing for a new space that would satisfy the needs and wishes of their family, as well as acting as a space for gathering, the owners of a Wilton residence called upon Kathleen Poirier Architects to renovate their basement.  The renovated basement encapsulates the owners’ roots with a Texas feel, while being thousands of miles away in the northeast. KPA renovated every square foot of the floor, including a living room, cozy nook, wine room, sensational gym, full bathroom, and (their sons’ personal favorite) a homework space that doubles as a modern video game room.
